Topic 1: Your company has ordered a delivery of products from one of your suppliers. The payment date is 1 Feb. Due to a difficult market situation in the beginning of the New Year, you would like to reschdule the payment for 28 Feb. In that situation the payment will be made in arrears - after the ordered products are sold. Ask for the rescheduling of payment without making an impression that your company is in financial trouble.

Topic 2: You sent an e-mail to a client asking them forpersonal information you need to update their details in your pension database (required by the Social Insurance Institution). The e-mail you received did not have the information you needed. Please decide what information is needed and ask them again to send you the required data. Remember to include the following:

  • the reason for writing
  • the details of previous correspondence
  • the problems you've experienced
  • what you expect the recipient to do

Topic 3: You have missed the deadline for sending a report to your contractor. The reason for the delay is that you did not get the information you needed from the market research company you usually hire to collect analytical data. Write an e-mail to the contractor explaining the situation, giving the necessary details and saying when the report will be ready.
